Ken Teng - President
Mr. Teng has a mechancial engineering degree from McGill University, and a Master of Business Administration from McMaster University. Mr. Teng started his career in the Petroleum industry in 1984. He spent 6 years with Amoco Canada Petroleum Co. Ltd., first as a 4th Class Steam Engineer and then as a Petroleum Engineer working mainly in process and production optimization of gas plants. He also worked a number of years as a Process Design Engineer and Project Manager for an engineering company. Mr. Teng has managed numerous projects in Petroleum & Petrochemical facilities; Pharmaceutical Production facilities; Fine Chemical facilities; and Food Plants.

Michael Obersnel, P. Eng. - Vice President
Mr. Obersnel is an experienced veteran with over 20 years of experience. He has extensive experience as a project manager and as a structural engineer, both in the nuclear and petroleum/petrochemical industries. Michael has worked closely with Imperial Oil's distribution department for the past 4 years providing project engineering and detailed engineering services. He has managed such projects as the system upgrade for Jet fuel filtration and treatment; tank inspections to API 653; remediation of foundations for large diameter storage tanks; and upgrades for truck and rail car loading system.

Stella Tse, P. Eng. - Senior Project Manager
Stella joined Teng after having spent 30 years working for Imperial Oil. She has held several senior positions at Imperial Oil including Senior Strategic Planner for Refining and Distribution where she developed and implemented major strategic initiatives to meet federal and provincial regulations and to foster business networking relations with competitors, through upgrading of facilities and distribution processes. Stella has a wealth of experience in regulatory and corporate affairs. In addition to her responsibilities as a Project Manager, Stella also advises the various design teams on regulatory requirements. She also headed up the Product Quality program for Petro-Canada.

Alex Fereidooni, PhD, P. Eng. - Tank Management Program
Alex currently heads the Tank Management Program at Teng & Associates Inc. He brings a unique combination of skills and experience on API 650 and 653 on Storage Tanks. He has completed the API 579 course on ANSI/ASME Fitness for Service. Alex has also worked with ASME Section VIII; ASME B31.1, B31.3, as well as API 620, 650 and 653. He utilizes state of the art finite element analysis software to develop best fit maintenance program for API storage tanks, pressure vessels and piping systems. His arsenal of tools includes software such as ANSYS FEA and AutoPipe Pipe Stress Analysis.

Bradley J. Deans P. Eng. - Senior Civil Design Engineer
Mr. Deans is a Senior Civil Design Engineer with over 20 years of experience. He has worked on numerious projects in the pharmaceutical, petroleum, steel, pulp and paper, and food industries. His work includes new industrial facilities, facility upgrades, heavy equipment foundations and pipe bridge designs.
